> The ham cooking time calculator gives the oven time for any ham – fully cooked or cook-before-eating, fresh, country or spiral-sliced, whole, half or boneless – from the USDA minutes-per-pound chart at 325 °F, with the internal temperature to reach.

## Inputs

- Ham type and cut
- Ham weight (lb, kg, oz, g)

## Results

- Shortest cooking time
- Longest cooking time
- Internal temperature
- Oven temperature

## Formula

```
Cooking time = weight (lb) × minutes per lb (USDA chart at 325 °F / 163 °C)
Fully cooked hams: reheat to 140 °F (60 °C); uncooked hams: 145 °F (63 °C) plus a 3-minute rest
```

## Explanation

Most hams sold in supermarkets are fully cooked and only need reheating. Cover the ham with foil to stop it drying out and glaze it in the last 15–20 minutes. Spiral-sliced hams dry out quickly – heat them cut side down in a covered pan.
